Jessica Laster and Scotty Russell both from Rogersville Tennessee lived a typical lifestyle. Stealing from charity, neglecting their children, drinking and getting high all day.
One day, they decided to abscond from probation and go somewhere to start fresh. So They chose a small town in northern Michigan,where no one knew their past.
It didn't take long before their fresh start turned stale. Scotty Russell was arrested for stealing a chainsaw and not long after, arrested again for strangulation on his girlfriend Jessica laster. Mean while Jessica started sucking the state dry, receiving food stamps and cash assistance.
They continued to scam people and even broke into a storage unit,and were dumb enough to sell the stolen items in a yard sale.
One day things took a turn for the worst. Law enforcement from Tennessee found out where they were hiding in Michigan and arrested both Jessica and scotty. They were both brought back to Tennessee to face charges on probation violations and failure to appear.
Meanwhile in Michigan,their mobile home was robbed. Those responsible took all their furniture and most of their possessions. Back in Tennessee Scotty Russell sits in jail and a now pregnant Jessica Later is out of jail awaiting court.
According to Jessica's facebook posts they are unable to leave the state of Tennessee at this time pending court,so therefore nothing can be done about their home being robbed.
NOTE.. If you move somewhere to start over.. Don't do the same dumb shit in a new town... And if you scam and rob everyone, eventually karma will get you.. And last.. Don't run from probation
